| An official topic is a general topic like "the official sports topic". It covers a general theme and no other topics like this can be made. To make an official topic you need permission from an Administrator or a Moderator. And remember to put in the topic "aproved by (insert who aproved your topic)". Just so we know. | |

Certainly, all staffies get to make official topics.
The point of an "official topic" is to ensure that a general subject such as sports is not made into hundreds of different threads, like Baseball, soccer, football, swimming; it also helps to catagorize, our conversations, especially for the non-bionicle forum, since thousands of subjects can be broached there, official topics means that Moderators can approve or disapprove topics, And keep the forum orderly. | |
